Fortunatelly, we have an OUTSTANDING support from MGK in Luxembourg, but why we - and them - have to deal with that is beyond my understanding. I can't believe this problem occurs again and that questions about us keeping on proposing this product. It is not the first time we have that kind of issue with Nod32 and client mails, and it is VERY bothering : since yesterday, we have received many requests for help from desperate customers. Other email clients such as "eM Client", "EssentialPIM", "Outlook" do not have any problems opening similar emails.I can confirm the problem between Nod32 and Thunderbird 78 : disabling the SSL/TLS filtering solve the issue. Just to clarify opening emails with large (image) attachments is the main issue. If I send & receive an email from my phone it is the same problem. Running only Built-in (Win10) Defender AntiVirus. However sometimes if an email has multiple attachments (images) totaling 15MB-20MB, Thunderbird just freezes when trying to open the email message. Mail provider is GMail & I can send 15-20MB without any problem. If an email has multiple images (attachments) & it totals to more than 15-20MB, that is usually when the problem happens. I have tried with other people computers & their computer's also have the same problem. The problem started recently with the new version "91.0.2" was working okay with previous versions (E.g. The issue will only happen when opening emails with images (attachments) larger than 15MB. However Firefox sees it as the default email client for maitto: and Windows sees it as the default email client. Thunderbird 38.1 x86 installs but does not offer to set itself as default. Starting Thunderbird in "Safe Mode" doesn't help. Since my Win 10 is x8664 I also tried Firefox-40b4 (there is no x8664 Firefox 39.0) and it also installed with no problem. Removing & reinstalling Thunderbird doesn't help. The problem happens on multiple computers with the same version. It gets stuck with just a message saying "Loading Message" & freezes. The issue is with "Thunderbird 91.0.2" & opening emails with image/picture attachments. If anyone can help me with an email problem.
